Built in Alberta

A local service. Real people. Real runners.

24/7 Delivery Runner is an Alberta-built pickup and delivery service. No app. No marketplace. No corporate menu. Just people with cars who go to whichever store you tell them to, at whatever hour you call.

What we are

24/7 Delivery Runner is a personal pickup and delivery service operating in Calgary, Edmonton, Airdrie, and Chestermere, Alberta. We are not a restaurant marketplace like DoorDash or Uber Eats. We are not a curated grocery service like Instacart. We do not have an app and we do not maintain a menu of pre-selected merchants.

What we do is simple: you call us, you tell us which store to go to and what to get, we go and get it, and we bring it to your door. We charge a flat $9.99 fee on top of the actual store price. That's the entire business.

Why we built this

The delivery app model is great for the apps. It is not always great for the customer. Three things bothered us enough to start something different:

First, the prices. Most apps add a 10 to 30 percent markup to menu items, plus a delivery fee, plus a service fee, plus a tip suggestion. A $40 in-store meal becomes a $60 app order. Customers know they're being squeezed but the apps are the only option for fast delivery in most cases.

Second, the catalog. Apps only carry stores they have onboarded. If you want something from a small independent restaurant that isn't on the app, you can't get it delivered. If you want something specific from a grocery store the app doesn't list, you can't get it. If you want a multi-stop run — pizza here, beer there, ice cream from a third spot — the apps can't handle it.

Third, the hours. Most apps thin out dramatically late at night. In Edmonton, your options between 1 AM and 6 AM on most platforms are essentially zero. In Calgary it's a bit better but still thin. The hours that people most need help — late shift workers, parents with sick kids, anyone who doesn't fit a 9-to-5 schedule — are the hours the platforms abandon.

So we built the inverse. A phone number you can call any hour, any day. Real conversation, not a menu interface. Any store, any restaurant, any pickup. Flat pricing with no surprises. That's the service.

Where we operate

Our core service area is four Alberta cities:

Outside these cities, we sometimes do longer runs (Sherwood Park, St. Albert, Cochrane, Okotoks, Langdon, Beiseker, Crossfield) on a case-by-case basis for an added distance fee. Call us if you're outside the four core cities and we'll tell you whether we can come.

What we believe about delivery

The price you see should be the price you pay. No markups hidden inside menu items. No surge multipliers that kick in when you need help most. No fee structure that requires a math degree to decode.

You should be able to order from anywhere. Not just from a curated app catalog. Any store, any restaurant, any specialty grocer, any pharmacy. If it's open and we can drive to it, you can have it delivered.

3 AM matters as much as 3 PM. Service should not collapse overnight. People who work nights, parents up with newborns, people sick at home — they need the service more, not less.

You should talk to a person. Not a chatbot. Not a menu of pre-selected items. A person who can hear the situation, ask the right questions, and get it done.

Neither. We are a locally operated Alberta service. No app store, no franchise model, no venture capital. Just runners with cars and a phone.
